El Paseo De Los Melancôlicos
If I walked in Rivera's landscape
Where the sun through the trees
From darkness that gives way only
The stark verticals of pines are balanced
In the coolness of shade in the silence
I would remember the smell of pines |

Las Sandias | |

Nude with Calla Lilies
In Rivera's painting there is
Symmetry and balance that is
Crouched on a straw mat
Like leaves under a blossom
Stand in contrast to the
And the straight and curved line
Her arms spread like stems |
